Because of the growth of our community, we regularly increase our distribution and readership as it is needed, and available through the US Postal Service. There are individual cases where your information may have not been available at the time we last expanded the reach of the publication.

Answers to Questions About Mailing Distribution:
We are happy to add any Ave Maria single-family home address upon request. We routinely update our mailing list, but there are a variety of different factors that go into the deliverability of the magazines.
We hope this may answer any questions that you may have about our mailing process.
When do the magazines get delivered?
We aim to deliver around the 1st of each month.
However, we send the magazines via USPS as Presorted Standard Class Mail (formally known as bulk mail) to keep our costs down.
This means that we are dependent upon several factors with the USPS and cannot control the exact delivery time.
A few reasons why a resident may not get the magazine
• The home was vacant at the time the magazine went to print or has been vacant for a long time
• The home was not built at the time the list was ordered
• The home is on the national "DO NOT MAIL" list through the FTC website
• The home is registered on DMA choice through a number of companies that block direct mail
• The mailbox has been removed for a formal PO Box or other mailing options. We often see snowbirds changing their addresses, which results in the magazine not being delivered as Presorted Standard Mail does not forward
• County-level geocoding errors
Other Important Notes
• There are significant savings to mailing Presorted Standard. It is almost half the price of first-class which allows us to keep our costs down low
• Presorted standard is processed by the USPS on a time-available basis. There is no guaranteed delivery time but is usually 3-6 working days
• Lastly, please note that we take great measures to ensure a standardized and consistent delivery of magazines every month. We order CASS & NCOA, certified geo-targeting software, to get the most accurate mailing list. Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) is a certification system from the USPS for address validation. National Change of Address (NCOA) is a mailing validation system that is used to provide updated and accurate addresses for individuals, families, and businesses.
How do you mail the magazines?
We send the magazines via USPS as Presorted Standard Class Mail (formally known as bulk mail).
This means that we are dependent upon the information that the USPS has and cannot control the distribution at a local level or guarantee delivery. Sometimes a magazine is on our mailing list due to a request but is not delivered because the USPS may have not verified those homes yet or has not updated the roads as fast as we would like.
We want to minimize this to make sure that we are paying for and shipping magazines to the USPS that are actually being delivered (and not returned to the post office as “non-deliverable”).
It is possible that addresses have started to receive mail, but the Post Office just doesn't report the information yet. We can provide a verification piece, a USPS receipt, a date that the printer sent the magazines, and how many magazines were sent for USPS delivery.
